Settlers Country Manor - Auckland Wedding Photographer

Last Sunday, 27 September 2020 Parai and Elise married at Settlers Country Manor. 

Settlers Country Manor has 100 years of history, originally built as a dairy factory back in the early 1900s. Producing mainly butter, for the farming community until the late 1950s.  The building has been home to many things in its life, from a storage facility for old World War II planes to an Art and Crafts shop.  In 1972 the venue was restored and developed producing charming vintage interiors across seven acres of breathtaking views.

The weather on Sunday was pretty wild, the Harbour Bridge had damage and wind warnings, the rain was on and off and then it was quite windy.  However, we thought take the risk for an outdoor ceremony and natural light photos.  We were glad to be able to photograph the wedding since the Level 2 Covid announcement had only been made earlier in the week.  

We managed to have the wedding ceremony, get the group shots and bridal party photos without the weather impacting us at all, so we were so pleased!

Elise looked beautiful in her dress together with her pounamu necklace and Parai wore the Huggard family tartan.

Beautiful ceremony, stunning outdoor location for photos topped off with great speeches, a haka and Encore, the fantastic band. 

Special thanks to the bridal party for all the laughs, being so organised and a great help for the duration of the day.
