Last Saturday, 11 January 2020, Chris and Carla tied the knot with a beautiful evening ceremony and cocktail reception an exquisite venue, Mantells in Mt Eden, Auckland.

Chris asked us to capture candid photos representing moments of their day as it happened, rather than a lot of structured poses. We managed to snap away over 1000 photos in the 4 hours we had.

Before the ceremony, Chris was very nervous before Carla arrived in a 2018 Ford GT. 

A short and sweet ceremony. Carla looked entrancing in her gown, alongside her bridesmaids in teal dresses. The gorgeous bouquets completed the look and complemented the surroundings.

We then took a basket full of drinks and ventured off for the quickest 30 minute bridal party shoot we have ever done, at a reserve next to Mt Eden. Many photos aren't your conventional bridal photos. Even the atmosphere was different, the trance dance party that was going on in the park, providing background music, then a random dog came to join the shoot as well.

Traditions were reversed when the bride and groom lead the way back to the party first, with the bridal party following behind.

Our first wedding of 2020, congratulations to Chris and Carla, it was both fun and relaxed throughout the evening, but gorgeously elegant at the same time. We are sure you have great memories of your day.
