My aim since starting this business is to offer many people the chance to be photographed, produce memorable photos for you, all at a reasonable price.
I absolutely love capturing the beauty of natural scenery, and the East Auckland suburbs of Half Moon Bay, Bucklands Beach, Pakuranga, East Tamaki, Flat Bush, Ormiston, Howick, Botany Downs, Pōhutukawa Coast and Clevedon, offer some stunning locations. The local beaches like Eastern Beach, Cockle Bay, and Bucklands Beach provide a picturesque backdrop for your photoshoots. So, whether we're exploring the local beaches and parks, we're committed to capturing your moments in the most stunning and convenient way possible. If you're unable to travel, no worries at all! We can definitely come to you if you live nearby. For locations that are a bit farther, a small travel fee may apply to cover the additional distance. We want to make sure we can capture your special moments in the perfect setting. Don't worry about unpredictable weather! We have a backup plan in place. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we can set up a cozy area in our garage to ensure your photoshoot still happens as planned.
So, whether you're looking to capture the magic of a wedding, the joy of a family gathering, or the essence of a personal milestone, Natalie Pasco Photography is here to bring your moments to life.
Natalie Pasco Photography really loves photographing all cultures! We have been fortunate to witness the cultural elements of Polynesian Weddings, from singing, drumming and dancing the Siva Samoa at wedding receptions, it is really quite unique and different to a traditional Pakeha wedding, to photographing the beautiful, vibrant colours and fabrics worn that celebrate life in Indian family portraits. It's amazing to honour and respect religious and cultural beliefs in photos, for example we have had Muslim clients, not able to kiss in couple portraits before marriage or observing religious timeframes before a newborn leaves the family home. A large portion of the Asian population in East Auckland is Indian, making it a hub for Indian culture. It's so special to see these traditions celebrated, respected and continued in photographs in such a beautiful way.
Take a look around my website, view my work and drop me a line about any questions you have and how we can document your special occasion.
I have been in the wedding photography and portrait photography business full time since 2016 after completing my Diploma in Photography. I shoot on a Canon camera model 5D mark iv, which is an awesome camera that helps me capture all those beautiful shots. And when it comes to editing, I work my magic in Lightroom. It's a fantastic tool that allows me to enhance the colors and bring out the best in each photo.
We totally get how important it is to have amazing photos that bring back all those special moments. And we understand that photography can sometimes be pricey. That's why we're here to bridge that gap and offer you affordable options without compromising on quality.
Oh, and let's talk about my love for travel! I've explored so many incredible places like New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific, South America, America, Canada, Europe, and Asia. I'm all about experiencing new cultures and customs. It's like a never-ending adventure that keeps me inspired and excited about capturing unique and diverse moments.
Now, here's a little secret about me: I'm actually an introvert. Yup, you heard it right! But you know what? Being an introvert gives me a unique perspective on photography. I'm able to observe and capture those intimate moments in a way that truly reflects the personalities and emotions of my clients. So, rest assured, you'll feel comfortable and at ease during our sessions.
I picked up a camera for pretty much the first time when I decided to go on my big O.E. to Europe in 2004. It was a Nikon DSLR and used film. It was a bit of a pain carrying rolls of film around for 4 months and a little bit of suspense when I came back to New Zealand to process all my photos at the camera shop.
You know what's cool? Before diving into photography, I actually spent over a decade working in the legal field. Working to deadlines and organisation skills I learnt from this job has helped me coordinate and organise weddings. I can't stress enough how important it is to be organised for your wedding, before the actual day. I can help you with this, but ultimately we need to know timings and everything about your special day. By knowing every detail about your wedding, it means that I have an overview and know where to be and when. I'm all about those details, especially when it comes to helping plan wedding days. It's just so rewarding to be part of such a special occasion.
I see myself as a photographer who will turn up and come and shoot YOUR PRECIOUS MOMENTS. As each moment is different, I don't want the photos to be 'staged' or typical. Every event is different because every person is unique and YOUR photos should reflect YOU, not me. All I do is frame that with a particular eye. To me photos should be a beautiful and heightened version of the reality of your event, but still very much about you. I will work with you and ask you what type of shoot you want and photos that you are drawn to, however as it is about you, I will make it unique to you.
I live in Botany Downs, Auckland, New Zealand. I adore animals and have one cat, named Ember.
So, if you're looking for someone who's passionate about preserving memories, has a knack for details, and loves to soak up different cultures, you've come to the right place. Let's create some unforgettable memories together!
